HoW can I get him back?

There's this dude I like. We've been through alot and done alot of things together. Nit sex, but stuff of that nature. Then one day, I found out that my former friend was trying to hook up with him behind my back and I blamed him for it. We became enemies, dissing eachother and cussing eachother out. I deleted his number, our text, our msgs from fb, ails everything. Then I found out the truth, that "friend" of mine was being real shady and sneaky but she got caught by me. We got on eachothers facebooks and I saw that she had been talkin to him. So I apologized to the guy I like, and we became aqquaintences. I asked to use his fine one day and I saw hat he was looking at our old texts, and that he still had my number. I went home feeling really bad and everyone keeps telling me that he still likes me but doesn't know how to approach me? So I wanna make a move, but how do I do it? Any suggestions???
