Guys: Are you protective of your girlfriend? How?

My boyfriend is protective but he does it in a sneaky way. If he sees something, like someone looking at me or whatever, he just holds me close or does something to make sure people know im his. He wont say anything though. Are you guys like that or are you more aggressive about it?
